Hanover Athletics Live Streaming of Athletic Events
Hanover Athletics Live Streaming of Athletic Events Hanover High School is proud to announce a partnership with the NFHS Network to broadcast our Hanover athletic contests and school wide events LIVE. As a part of the program, Hanover High School received two free Pixellot automated production units for use in our primary sports venues. The automated cameras have been installed at the Merriman-Branch Turf Field and in the gym. All home games in the following sports will be live streamed - soccer (games on the turf only), field hockey, football, volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse (games on the turf only). The program is being offered by the NFHS Network, the national leader in streaming live and on-demand high school sports, and was created to assist schools during the pandemic. Concussion Protocol
Dresden Policy JLCJ – Concussion Management Policy Hanover High School (HHS) seeks to provide all students the opportunity to participate in athletics safely in accordance with Title XV, Sections 200:49 – 200:52. After a head injury, particularly after a concussion, the following policy will apply. In order to effectively and consistently manage concussive injuries, procedures have been developed to see that concussed athletes are: identified, treated, referred appropriately, receive appropriate follow-up measures during the school day, and fully recovered prior to engaging in HHS-sponsored athletic activities. This policy pertains specifically to athletes. However, in recognition that any student can experience a head injury, all staff in Dresden schools will be made aware of this policy and regulation related to concussion management.
