Hanover Athletics Adds Live Streaming of Athletic Events
Hanover High School is proud to announce a partnership with the NFHS Network to broadcast our Hanover athletic contests and school wide events LIVE. As a part of a new program, Hanover High School received two free Pixellot automated production units for use in our primary sports venues. The automated camera has been installed at the Merriman-Branch Turf Field and the remaining home games in the following sports will be live streamed this fall - soccer (games on the turf only), field hockey, and football. The camera installation is under way in the gym and should be completed this week.
The program is being offered by the NFHS Network, the national leader in streaming live and on-demand high school sports, and was created to assist schools during the pandemic. This will allow those unable to attend to watch the live action from anywhere on your phone, tablet, computer or smart TV. Games can also be watched on demand after the contest.
The Pixellot units are all-in-one video cameras and automated production solutions. Introduced to high schools three years ago, the units have quickly become an integral component of the NFHS Network’s offerings and allow every event to be streamed live without requiring personnel to produce the games, thereby eliminating the operational strain created by manual production.
The NFHS Network provides video live streaming for high schools across the USA. For approximately $11 per month or $70 per year, a person may subscribe to the NFHS Network and access a live video stream for all Hanover home games played on the turf and soon in the gym. A subscription also allows for live streaming access to any other high school game being streamed across the USA.
