David Sobel
Head Coach
Boys Junior Varsity Football
David Sobel was named the JV head coach prior to the 2019 season and enters his third season on the Marauder staff. He is a 1987 graduate of Colgate University, where he was a punter on the JV squad. David is a resident of Hanover for over 20 years, having 2 children graduating from HHS and two more in the pipeline. Away from the gridiron David is a practicing veterinary surgeon and an accomplished Ironman triathlete. Coach Sobel says that his greatest joy in coaching is watching players develop a lifelong love of football as they grow and mature as players and students.
