Cross Country (Boys/Girls)
Official pre-season practices will be Monday, August 19 - Friday, August 23 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and Monday and Tuesday, August 26 and 27 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. While weekday runs are open to new and veteran alike, any additional Saturday runs will only be open to those who are ready for the additional distance. During practices, we will break up into ability groupings as all runners progress. For those new to the team, it is likely that the veteran runners will get together to run and enjoy each other’s company during the summer break. If you have not signed up, contact Coach Picconi (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Coach Dorcas (email@example.com) to receive training recommendations from the coaches, and notifications from the upper-classman arranging the summer runs. During the summer and preseason, all runners should have a reasonably new pair of running shoes, a water bottle (with water;-), a wristwatch and remember to apply sunscreen 20 minutes before running. Make the start of your season pain and injury free with great teammate friendships already solidified!
