Acker scored the first goal of the game in the first period, then added two during a second-period span that saw Hanover post six goals in eight minutes.
David Lehmann added two goals and two assists, Patrick Logan had a goal and two assists, and Jonathan Goff and Casey Starr added a goal and an assist each for Hanover.
Willy Smith tallied three assists, and Owen Stadheim and Rowan Wilson had two assists each for the Marauders.
Hans Williams and Elias Zinman scored one goal each, while Duncan Bailey, Grant Morhun and Jensen Dodge all had one assist for Hanover.
Goalie Gabe Loud made 10 saves for the Marauders (5-3, 2-2 NHIAA Division I).
“We got contributions from all four lines,” Hanover coach Dick Dodds said. “The offense was clicking, moving the puck well through traffic and in front of the net. It showed on the scoreboard.”
The Marauders host Exeter on Saturday.
