This past Saturday was the seventh annual Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) East v. West football game. The focus of the game is to raise money for the kids who are supported by the CHaD program. Moises Celeya, Nick Putnam and Caleb Putnam represented Hanover High School and they played for the West Team. The game selects the top players in the state in New Hampshire football programs. The west won the game with a score of 24-21 and now leads the series 5-2 and together both teams raised $221,000 for CHaD!! Please join me in congratulating Moises Celeya and his family; Moises is the first Hanover player to be selected MVP of the game! Moises had an amazing game: 3 punts over 50 yds (one was 63 yds and two of them pinned the east team inside the 5-yard line2 Kick-offs that were out of the end zone33 yard field goal3 extra points Moises is a special person and kicker and being selected as MVP is not by accident. He works relentlessly on his craft. We wish him all the best as he plays football at Colby College. Best of Luck to Caleb Putnam playing football at UNH and Nick Putnam playing at Plymouth State. Our HANOVER BOYS represented!!!
